The InterGpol series ("Cora", "InterGalactic Police") consists of eight works, which are science fiction detectives. The action takes place at the end of the 21st - beginning of the 22nd century.

The main characters are Cora Horvat and Commissioner Milodar. Cora was raised in a boarding school for unusual foundlings, which is called Children's Island. This is a special place where all the children found in space are gathered. Some of them have a bizarre, extraterrestrial appearance, while others are no different from earthlings. Some have their own special abilities. None of them know their parents (but, of course, they really want to know). Life on the island is like life in a regular boarding school, except they can't leave. But Commissioner Milodar, who oversaw the boarding school, recruits Cora to work for InterGPol. Now she is an agent and is engaged in solving mysteries and unraveling crimes.

The InterGPol cycle includes eight works:
"Children's Island"
A breakout from Children's Island, a special shelter for space foundlings, took place overnight. Two young people in love have disappeared from the island. The escape is successful. Prince Wolfgang, a psychopath and tyrant who planned and carried out this escape-abduction, is waiting for them on the spaceship "Sanssouci". Interpol is on the trail.

"Halfway Off the Cliff"
Somewhere in Crimea there is a transition point to parallel worlds. And this world is also called Earth, then ours is Earth-2! And this world is (or is!?) lagging behind in social development, when the planet's population lacks the most common everyday things and products. Interpol agent Cora was given the task of infiltrating this world and finding out everything: who, what, why, how they plan to use this transition and who is the genius who opened the window to another world.

"Attempt on Theseus"
Interpol Commissioner Milodar first brings Cora Horvat to watch a very strange football match, and then gives her a new task. She is to become a bodyguard for Prince Gustav, heir to the throne from the kingdom of Ragoza, located on a remote and underdeveloped planet. All the hopes of the Ragosian population for development and social progress are pinned on Gustav. Currently studying on Earth at Moscow University, he will soon face a difficult test: a so-called VR cruise. Such cruises are fully immersive in virtual reality and can pose a real danger to life.
First, Cora will have to visit Gustav's home planet and try to discover what forces there are interested in his death. Then, following her protégé (and secretly from him), she will plunge into virtual reality and find herself in Ancient Greece. Because the prince has chosen the role and life path of the mythological hero Theseus, the slayer of the Minotaur...

"In Chicken Skin"
Interpol Inspector Cora Horvat is sent to the small planet Dil-li to investigate the murder of an archaeologist, the respected Professor Gallieni, a native of the planet Xero. An assassination attempt has been made on Cora, and she must conduct her investigation in the body of the professor's widow, a huge, fat hen who is preparing to become a mother...

"The Foreteller of the Past"
On the planet New Helvetia, its legitimate ruler, Eguadius II, has been assassinated. Power has been seized by Duagim, the emperor's nephew, a monster who hates everything earthly. There are 240 earthlings on New Helvetia who are in danger of dying. Only one independent detective can be sent to the planet, and his chances of outwitting Duagim are negligible. In short, the case is just right for Cora Orvat...

"The Last Dragons"
In the state of Lyondor on the planet Southern Pedanta, Dragons are a symbol of the state; they are bred and protected, and once a year, on the Day of Greatness, they are released to fly freely over the capital. Cora Horvat is invited to investigate the mysterious disappearances of these enormous animals, as the state has been prophesied that when the last dragon leaves the Corral, Liondor will perish...

"The Disappearance of Professor Lu Fu"
The great scientist Lu Fu, Nobel Prize winner and inventor of the gravity engine, suddenly disappeared from his home in the most remote place on Earth. In recent years, he lived in seclusion and cultivated his own garden. Who could need a genius and for what purposes was he kidnapped? This is what Cora Horvat, an Interpol agent, must figure out.

"The Mirror of Evil"
What to do if Earth is chosen as the site of a "civil war" between humanoids? And what if, during this war, symbols of power that are extremely important to the aliens—the ring, the crown, and the mirror—are lost? And what if the war wasn't just the other day, or even last year, but oh, how long ago?
All that's left is to use technological progress and search, search, search... Even in the past. Even in someone else's.
